Macfarlane Ferguson & McMullen is proud to announce that James A. Martin, Jr. received the 2023 Golden Flame Philanthropy Award presented by the Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation. Established in 1987, the Golden Flame Philanthropy Award is the Foundation’s most prestigious honor, given to community leaders who exemplify the spirit of philanthropy by their commitment to improving the health of the community. Mr. Martin also received the best Medical Malpractice Defense lawyer for the State of Florida by the Best Lawyers publication.
Mr. Martin was recently honored by the Florida Bar for practicing law for 50 years. Mr. Martin represents clients in the areas of Health Care, litigation, and professional liability defense.
