The Firm’s Education Practice Group has the privilege of representing as outside general counsel one of the largest school districts in the United States. In this role, Group attorneys provide legal counseling for matters ranging from education and school law, employment law, traditional labor law, collective-bargaining, charter schools, risk management, Title IX compliance issues, student disciplinary matters, ESE educational issues, campus safety and security and issues involving high school sports teams. Often, these issues require immediate, real time legal advice with constant collaboration with school administration leaders, non-instructional management and site administration (i.e., school principals and assistant principals).
