Jeffrey W. Gibson

PRACTICE DESCRIPTION

  • Mr. Gibson provides regular counsel and litigation representation to individuals and entities throughout the State of Florida. Mr. Gibson represents several local governments in the Tampa Bay region advising clients on labor and employment, public records laws and all aspects of governmental affairs. Mr. Gibson works alongside these clients to navigate and translate the intricacies of government law and public policy issues. In the area of Labor & Employment, Mr. Gibson provides counsel regarding strategic initiatives, as well as defending employers in matters related to equal opportunity, sexual harassment, labor relations, wage and hour and all other employer / employee concerns. Mr. Gibson also handles a broad range of complex civil litigation, including medical malpractice defense, Americans with Disabilities Act and business contract disputes. He has negotiated settlements and tried cases in both state and federal courts. Mr. Gibson has also presented appellate arguments before state and federal appellate courts.
