Congratulations to Brian J. Aungst, Jr. on installation as the Chairman of the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce at the recent 95th Annual Meeting of the Chamber. William Stainton has been appointed to the Florida Bar’s standing committee on Judicial Administration and Evaluation.
The Judicial Administration and Evaluation Committee has the responsibility of accepting specific assignments from the Board of Governors in areas regarding the judiciary. The committee prior to each legislative session reviews all legislation prefiled pertinent to the judiciary and makes recommendations either to the Board of Governors or the Legislation Committee.
The Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers (“HAWL”) hosted a judicial reception at the Tampa Club on January 31st, 2008, honoring local federal and state judges. The reception was well attended, with more than 100 guests attending, including 34 judges.
