Congratulations to Carolyn House Stewart who has been chosen to serve as a Grand Marshall at USF’s 2010 Homecoming Festivities. To celebrate the University’s 50th year of having students on campus, 5 Grand Marshalls were chosen this year – one to represent each decade. USF chose Attorney Stewart, a 1974 graduate for her many contributions to the community and the University.
Macfarlane Ferguson & McMullen is a proud sponsor of the Fashion Funds the Cure, supporting the Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Not your average fashion show, Fashion Funds the Cure features young superstars – children who are currently battling pediatric cancer. With its national headquarters in Tampa, the Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research to eliminate childhood cancer through The Sunshine Project, the Foundation's collaborative research program. By employing doctors and researchers from the country's top institutions, The Sunshine Project is fast-tracking the development of new drugs and therapies that will ultimately lead to the cure of childhood cancers.
