Summer Associates
 

The Summer Associate Program at Macfarlane Ferguson & McMullen is designed to expose our summer associates to all aspects of our law firm, the legal profession, and the Tampa Bay area.

While ensuring that our summer associates perform assignments for all of our practice groups, summer associates are allowed and encouraged to actively participate in the areas of law that are of particular interest to them.  Working closely with our diverse and experienced attorneys, our summer associates take part in drafting pleadings and other legal documents, as well as trial preparations, client conferences, mediations, transactional closings, and numerous other legal activities.

Our program is also designed to provide extensive mentoring to our summer associates.  Through both formal and informal feedback, our attorneys take an active interest in the professional development of our summer associates. 

As exciting as our summer program is professionally, we place an emphasis on an enjoyable social schedule as well.  From professional sports to cultural events, golf outings to gatherings at our attorneys’ homes, and valuable firm sponsored local networking opportunities, we are dedicated to making sure that our attorneys and summer associates have extensive social interaction.
